My co-worker is back to work today!  This is about a week and a half after she was attacked by a pit bull while walking her puppy.  Both puppy and mom are doing a lot better and will be okay.  It's really sad, and they did end up putting down the pit bull, but what else could be done.  It viciously attacked them and would have killed one or both if neighbors hadn't managed to pull it off her.  What if it had been a little girl or an older person?  The results could have been far more tragic.  I am an animal lover and it's hard to admit that I agree it was better to do this.

But the gist is that they're going to be okay, and that stitches heal.
